JCom was established in 2008 as a not-for-profit recruitment agency to address the growing problem of unemployment in Manchester's Orthodox Jewish Community by creating an employment agency that would be understanding and sensitive to the needs of its clients. At the same time it would make employers aware of the vast and diverse pool of talent that was in its midst but was often overlooked. Many of our candidates possess tremendous energy and enthusiasm together with a practical approach to analysing and solving problems.
We have already established working relationships with the local councils who refer clients to us and have had a very successful ration of placements.
We continue reaching out to organisations both within the private and public sector to register their vacancies with us.
JCom covers its costs by charging a nominal agency fee to the employer, typically equal to one week's wage - 90% cheaper than the high street agencies, making us an attractive proposition for any prospective employer.
We work closely with our candidates both an a one to one basis and on a broad-spectrum providing them with career advice, training and vacancies.
